CMS is currently closed September-December 2020.  If you are interested in our program for January 2021, please follow the application guidelines below.


If you would like your child to be on the waiting list for future academic years, please fill out an application following the guidelines below.  It is never too early to apply.

I'm interested in your school! What should I do?

1. Print, fill out and mail an application.

     This is the first step for those who are interested in our program. It is the only way to be placed on our waitlist. It is never to early to apply.  When your application is received you will get a confirmation email. It may take a few weeks to receive this email or longer in the summer months.

2. Schedule a tour.

     The year before the school year you are applying for, call or email the school to schedule a tour with your child. Tours begin in October. (7/15/20: Tours are currently unavailable due to current safety guidelines.) 

3. Keep your application up to date.

     If any of your personal information changes (mailing address, phone number, etc) please email Do not send in an additional application. The director will make changes to your original application.

Applications must be printed and mailed to the above address only. Applications sent as email attachments will not be accepted. Applications are dated by postmarked date.
The Children's Montessori School is not responsible for any applications lost in the mail. Please do not send your application to our physical address.

When will I be notified if there is space for my child?

Enrollment typically begins for currently enrolled families in December and January. Enrollment for new families typically begins in January and February.  If there is space available, you will be called by our school's director. At that time you will be asked to mail a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee within 14 days to reserve your child's space. Only send your check to our PO BOX address.
We reserve the right to balance the class by age and gender.

Is my child ready for school?

To enter and remain in The Children's Montessori School your child must:

*be able to listen to and comply with teacher requests.

*be able to use the bathroom independently.

*be 3 years of age by the first day of the school year you are applying for.​ *be under the age of 6 by the first day of the school year you are applying for.

Our roster is full for the 2020-2021 school year. If spaces become available, we will contact students who are already on our waiting list. If you would like your child to be on the waiting list for future academic years, please fill out an application.
