I'm interested in your school! What should I do?

Familiarize yourself with our application procedure below prior to clicking on the application button at the bottom of this page.

If you have already submitted an application at an earlier date, please stop here. Email with any questions or concerns. 

 1. Read and fill out a digital application.

    This is the first step for those who are interested in our program. It is the only way to be placed on our waitlist. Only one application per child is accepted. If you have already sent in a printed application prior to January 15, 2021, please fill out a digital application and send an email to Your original application date will be applied to your digital application. 

2. Schedule a tour. 

     Tours are offered to families up to one year before the school year you are applying for.  Send an email to to schedule a tour with your child. Tours are offered October - February.

3. Keep your application up to date.

     If any of your personal information changes (mailing address, phone number, etc) please email, do not send in an additional application. The director will make changes to your original application. Email updates directly to our school at the email listed above.

The Children's Montessori School is not responsible for any applications that are not properly submitted.

Applications submitted for children who do not meet our enrollment requirements will not be accepted.

When will I be notified if there is space for my child?

Enrollment typically begins for currently enrolled families in December and January. Enrollment for new families typically begins in January and February.  If there is space available, you will be notified by our school's director. At that time you will be asked to drop off a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee/form within 10 days to reserve your child's space. Your check and registration fee form (which will be sent to you via email) should be dropped off at our physical address. We reserve the right to balance the class by age and gender.

Is my child ready for school?

To enter and remain in The Children's Montessori School your child must:

  • be able to listen to and comply with teacher requests.

  • be able to use the bathroom independently.

  • be 3 years of age by the first day of the school year you are applying for.​ *be under the age of 6 by the first day of the school year you are applying for.

Our roster is full for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. Our roster is full for the 2022-2023 school year. 

If spaces become available, we will contact students who are already on our waiting list. If you would like your child to be on the waiting list for future academic years, please fill out an application.  Due to CMS's right to balance our classes by age and gender, we are unable to disclose where your child is on our waitlist. 

How do I get on the waitlist?

In order to be placed on our waitlist, please submit a digital application.  You will receive an email confirming your application has been submitted upon approval by the schools director. Please check your spam folder if you do not see a confirmation email within 24 hours. Only families who have been confirmed on our roster by the school's director will be asked to send in a registration fee. If you are already on our waitlist, only contact the school (email only) if you need to update information on your application such as phone number, address, etc. Please do not submit additional applications. We only accept ONE application per child (you do not need to fill out additional applications for each school year) . Additional applications will be declined.
